Fundamentals Series: 5 Essential Squat movements you need to be doing

It was once said to me that you can do any exercise you want as long as you squat (I’ll let you decide who said that, let me know in the comments!).

What we do know is that the squat is one of the most fundamental movement patterns that we absolutely need to consider in our programmes.

In this latest series of videos called ‘Fundamental 5’s’ we have put together some our the most productive squat variations for you. This particular video features Thomas Stringwell one of our expert tutors, who works with many athletes including boxers and rugby players. He is also a competitive weightlifting and powerlifter so he knows his strength training.
