My TOP Squat Variations!
So we know that squatting is a good thing for most people to gain some basic structural strength, right?

Anyway, there are times when a little variation is in order, and there are times when you need to work on specific components of the lift or develop specific strength qualities in an individual. This is where some of these variations come in handy.
Now don’t get me wrong, make sure you have a good base of competency on the movement itself before you start changing things up, many times just sticking to the programme will produce results. A point was hammered home by GB Boxing S&C Coach Ian Pyper during his excellent ‘Metabolic Resistance Training’ section on the 3 Day Accelerated Development Course (next one running in Feb by the way).
