Interview with Tommy Yule: All things Olympic Lifting and Strength
I managed to grab half an hour of Tommy’s time yesterday to do a short interview on olympic lifting and strength training in general. This is well worth a listen, some real gems in there. Tommy is a high performance S&C coach consulting with UK Athletics and governing bodies. He’s also an olympian and 5 time commonwealth medallist in weightlifting. Respect.
In this interview we covered loads of twitter questions including:
Pulls VS Catches: Which are more suited to certain people and why
Best Lifts for Novices and why
What coaches are doing wrong and how to improve
Transfer of training from the gym to the field/court
How to get STRONG!!
Tommy’s workshops are on the 16th March and the 20th April in Leeds and will be very popular so book asap to make sure you have a space.
