STRENGTH AND FITNESS TV EPISODE 2: Power Training Tutorial
Good morning folks, Check out episode 2 of #SandFTV. This is a little tutorial on power training. Power might just be the most important quality out there when it comes to performance training.
This will give you an idea of how I tend to put programmes together.
The example session is just that, an example. There are many ways of doing it. So for in season training weeks you might go strength day/power day (both have strength and power in), or you might go Heavy/Medium/Light loads through the week, or like the session I showed you might go Heavy/Medium/Light within one session.
Look at your athletes, your sport and your time to help you decide on this.

The first is Olympic Lifting focussed, the second is on transferring strength and power gains to the competitive arena. This is our job after all right?
