After studying at the Institute of Optimum Nutrition, Matt Lovell has specialised in elite sports, female hormonal health and body composition management.
In his in depth talk Matt will be sharing his experiences and secrets of how to optimise yours and your athletes training through nutrition. You’ll learn how Matt gets professional football players like Tottenham Hotspur, England Rugby, Man City, Millwall Football club and many other elite sports teams and athletes in tip top condition whether its about strength, power or fat loss and movement skills. This talk will give you everything you need to put yourself a step above your competition.
The SCE Weightlifting Way
Dave Hembrough is the lead S&C coach at Sheffield Hallam and the head coach of Hallam Barbell Olympic Weightlifting Club. Dave was the lead S&C coach for the GB Womens Volleyball team at the 2012 Olympic Games and coaches GB Table Tennis and British Diving Athletes at the 2014 Commonwealth Games winning a total of 5 medals.
In Olympic Weightlifting Dave has coached internationally at masters level and has lifters competing at a national level with Hallam Barbell.
This presentation will be about culture and philosophy in developing a community of people. He’ll take you through the practicalities of running group sessions for people with different abilities and interests while sharing some solutions to challenges he has come across. The talk will also include some detail around the practicalities of the Hallam Barbell Weightlifting programme and will finish with some practical work too.
