Are you ALL IN?
Last week I talked about finishing things and getting stuff done.
This week my question is simple.
Are you ALL IN?
With what you want for yourself.
With how your getting it done.
With your behaviour in general?
Are you FULLY committed to the process.
Success might just be linked to the amount of discomfort you can tolerate before you get there.
So if you’re not fully committed it’s not going to happen.
When you’re all in it’s happening. You’re doing it regardless of the pain.
No cancelling at the last minute.
You’re not pulling out (even though you might want to at times).
There is no other path.
High performance people commit. They go ALL IN.
Seeing things through and FINISHING THEM.
I think we can prepare for success by making tweaks in our behaviour.
Using different language and asking yourself the questions “Do I really want to do this?” Does this contribute to my vision? Is it important that I’m involved?
If the answer is yes then challenge yourself to see it through.
No matter how big or small that task may be.
See it through.
If it’s no then make the decision and move on the next thing and ask the question again.
Use your energy for tasks that will help YOU.
Think of 5 things you’ve got on the go at the moment. It might be projects, it might be personal arrangements, christmas parties, anything.
Ask the questions and make the decisions for each one. Try to give yourself no more than 5 minutes to make the call. Get the stop watch out if you need to. Good decisions don’t need to take hours.
GO ALL IN TODAY.
Let’s see what happens.
