Eat Fat to Get Lean! Wisdom from Matt Lovell
I just read Matt Lovell’s latest blog post and although very simple stuff, I thought it was well worth putting it out there again as this principle NEVER seems to be accepted by the masses!.

Ensure you are EATING ENOUGH FAT
We’ve all been CONDITIONED by the media and health
professionals that FAT is bad for us.
That’s totally wrong
You need fat otherwise your body holds onto the fat it’s
previously stored as it thinks it’s in short supply.
If you are lower in calories then your body can start to
burn muscle for fuel instead of fat if you don’t have
enough dietary fat..
An important reason why you should have some fat with
It HELPS YOU FEEL FULL
So that you won’t be craving other foods and you’ll be
able to stick to your plan.
The good fats in the main that I want you to be eating are
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Virgin Organic Coconut Oil
(other nut oils e.g. walnut, sesame)
Oils to avoid are
Some ways to get your oils into your diet are
Cook your protein in oil instead of steaming or baking.
Use dressings (salad dressings, pesto’s etc, curry pastes)
Make sauces with oils ( I made one on Sat night that was
avocado, olive oil, garlic, salt and pepper and some
