2 Books I’d recommend
Here are 2 books I’d recommend you read from 2 authors I am fortunate enough to know personally. I’m reading them myself at the moment and they are both a great read.
The first is:
- Palm Sized Plan by respected nutritionalist Matt Lovell
First things first it has some really good recipes in it which alone are well worth the price of the book.
There is also a very easy to follow and evidence- based plan to help you achieve your goals.
Matt is at the cutting edge when it comes to sport’s nutrition. Check out the book if you’re looking for results with your nutrition.
The second is:
- Rugby Drills and Games by RFU U-20’s head of fitness Simon Worsnop.
Simon has been around for a long time and works with the elite U-20 rugby union players.
The book is a great read for any coaches who work with rugby players, or those wanting to incorporate skill and game based conditioning into their programme in general, as the structure is well explained.
You can preorder the book here: Rugby Games and Drills
Both the books are well worth checking out, and coincidentally, both of these authors will be presenting at Leeds Met next year so stay tuned for dates to be released soon.
