Ask Brendan Volume 2 Episode 3: Top 5 Mistakes in S&C
Well I’m back from a nice weekend away for my 30th birthday.
Important to relax and take some time out from things every now and again.
Anyway I’ve uploaded episode 3 of the Ask Brendan podcast which is all about mistakes that are made in strength and conditioning programmes.
Mistakes is a word with negative connotations. Perhaps learning opportunities is a better way to think of them.
The episode has got plenty of my own mistakes in there as well as some that I see regularly occurring. Areas such as programming, monitoring, coaching, mindset, all are covered in this short podcast episode.

I also have 2 questions for you today.
This year alone I have put out quite a lot of informational products that I believe add really good value to our profession and to fitness and health in general. If you’ve followed my work this year you’ll see that I have put out 5 videos, 3 books, 2 audio products with accompanying manuals, 2 webinars and a few other bits and pieces too. That’s in addition to the live events that are happening monthly at least.
With that in mind I’ve had a few people who have asked me about how to write or put together an informational product for themselves, and also how to sell that product.
So I have decided to offer a PRODUCT CAMP which would be a 2 or 3 day intensive weekend where you actually write and build your own product READY TO LAUNCH AT THE END OF THE WEEKEND!
I’ll guide you through the process but the main thing would be that you take the time to actually do it.
It would be in October or November this year and would be limited to 6 or 8 people with ideas that are pretty cool and from the heart.
Let me know if you’re interested by replying to this email with your thoughts on it, I’ll be keen to hear from anyone who wants to push forwards.
The second thing is that I’m always looking to work with people who are interested in joint ventures and can help me get information out there and spread ideas. So if you are a social media fiend or have the passion to spread fitness, strength and health ideas I’d love to hear from you. Maybe you have a fitness blog, a website with some traffic, or lots of followers on facebook or twitter. I have an affiliate programme for ALL the products that offers generous commissions for all sales. AND it’s good content, ethical and pretty cool too!
Let me know by replying to this email with your thoughts and your followers on twitter and Facebook or your mailing list numbers and I’ll send you more info on all this stuff in due course.
Thanks folks much appreciated as always,
