End of Another 3 Days!
Another 3 Day Accelerated Development Programme comes to an end
So this weekend Strength and Conditioning Education hosted another 3 Day Accelerated Development Course. The first course was back in June and I was pleased with the weekend. This course was even better, with 12 people (capacity for the programme) going through.
Like last time it was pretty intense to say the least, with a 10 hour day on friday setting the tone for the weekend, but let me tell you, this method of learning works!
Learning intensively then applying, then study, then apply etc etc is a really good way to aquire new skills quickly then get into the trenches and apply them with your athletes or clients. Of course we should be learning all the time. And that will never stop, but I find this method works best when you’re looking to RAPIDLY UPSKILL yourself or others.
Anyway, I’ve had some good feedback from the course already with the testimonials rolling in so I’m going to boast a little bit (becuase I can!) and show a couple of these here today!
I found the 3 day accelerated coach development very useful. It offered a unique learning experience, utilising different coach tutors who all had their own take on S&C from different sporting perspectives. I think this is a unique course in being able to offer this to aspiring and seasoned coaches alike. Both practical and theory sessions offered the opportunity to discuss in-depth how those particular elements can fit into your coaching toolbox. I would highly recommend this course and can honestly say that it has improved my own skill set as a coach. With personal development high on the list with regards to my own coaching philosophy, this learning experience can only better my career for me and my athletes alike.Ross TarnowskiS&C Coach RAF
I was personally really chuffed with this strength and conditioning course as the attendees coming on the course ranged from newbie’s getting into the industry to experienced deliverers working in elite sport with high level athletes. It’s great when you get such a range of experiences coming together to share their knowledge.
It was also good for me as I got chance to meet up with a couple of people starting my Distance Education Mentorship Programme. Really looking forward to getting going with this programme. I have now got 5 great people to get working with over the next 12 months including full time coaches from elite sport, personal trainers and business owners looking to build their business, and rising star S&C coaches looking to get through their UKSCA course and develop as best they can.
If this sounds like the programme for you there is 1 place left (seriously) so check out the link below:
So maybe i’m in a reflective mood this evening as I write this post but it does feel great to share what I can with others and I have some great stuff planned in the coming months on this theme.
Yours in Education
