Hope you’re having a great weekend.
Friday and Saturday I was in Birmingham at a convention where I was fortunate enough to hear Chris Hoy talk and share some of his memories. It’s great to have that inspiration around you and keep things moving.
Today I’m up and at it getting my BRAND NEW 12 MONTH DIPLOMA COURSE ready to launch next weekend.
But before I get going on that I wanted to write some words on being present in coaching.
You see, this is something that is important to the process. And will rapidly accelerate the results you see if you can make it happen in every session you do.
But being present is something that can be challenging.
I’m talking about being there, in the moment, for the people around you.
When we’re coaching we owe it to our clients to actually listen, not just hear the words that are spoken, actually LISTEN.
Bringing our best to the table, surely that’s the essence of good coaching?
But let me tell you, it’s something that is tough for me at times.
And it’s something that I challenge myself to keep working on.
Minimise distractions, focus on the moment, put yourself into your work AND COACH.
Not just being in the room, but being in the session. Ready and willing.
Your clients will remember you for it. And talk about it.
Oasis might have just about put this best.
BE HERE NOW. This is what your clients want from you.
PS: Look out for the diploma launching NEXT WEEKEND, and if you want to learn from one of the best check out Duncan French’s workshop which is 50% OFF if you enter the code DFRENCHDISCOUNT.
