12 Month ACCELERATED DEVELOPMENT Mentorship is OPEN NOW!
I’ve JUST OPENED up the mentorship programme for 5 DRIVEN PEOPLE who want to get to that NEXT LEVEL in 2014.
You’ll get everything you need to move forwards be it coaching, business, lifestyle.
It’s an awesome programme.
I’ve personally benefitted from having some great mentors around me such as Kelvin Giles, Duncan French and other top coaches who I can bounce ideas off, ask advice, speak to about jobs and access their networks. For me personally it really has helped my development as a coach and professional in this industry. A mentor should have good, credible experience and more importantly have been there done it to a degree. They should also be able to help you get where you want to go. This is what this programme is designed to do
You can join at any time and the 12 months begins from this point.
I’ll be in touch very soon after receiving your competency document through to arrange a conversation.
You’ll go through the 3 Day Level 3 Accelerated Development Programme which is a nationally recognised coaching qualification.
So as well as developing yourself as a coach you’ll be in a better position from a qualifications standpoint too.

Over the last 18 months the coaches working with me have developed into roles with organisations such as Essex County Cricket Club, English Institute of Sport, Newcastle Falcons, Gateshead Thunder Rugby League, UK Athletics, Exeter Chiefs Rugby Union, GB Surfing, and many other high performance sporting roles.
In addition we’ve had people open their own facilities FROM SCRATCH, build thriving consultancy businesses, online training platforms, launch websites and all of which the mentorship programme was integral.
Anyway that’s anough from me, here’s what the graduates had to say!
“After many years of competitive sport, coaching, becoming a Personal Trainer and being left wanting more, I finally feel that I’m heading down the path I desire.
I wont lie to you, you need to be ready for this, but if you are and are willing to put in everything you’ve got, you’ll accelerate your journey beyond belief. Brendan can open the right doors for you, but you still have to walk through them yourself!
Since spending time with Brendan from the outset identifying my goals and starting point, I’ve racked up a mass more knowledge, skills and coaching experience.
I’ve been able to make some great connections with many other aspiring coaches and create opportunities to get stuck in and coach lots of different athletes from a wide range of sports.
Learning from Brendan himself and gaining exposure to coaches such as Vern Gambetta, Tommy Yule, Rhodri Lloyd, Ian Pyper, Jared Deacon, Tom Whittaker, Tamas Feher, Ian Fisher, Ben Rosenblatt and Gil Stevenson has certainly been a massive benefit.
Since beginning the Mentorship I have a website that’s had over 16,000 visitors since January (written in July), I’m working well towards my UKSCA accreditation and I’m a qualified coach for UK Athletics coaching at a club with 4 GB Internationals, getting to coach S&C for a great bunch of athletes.
In summary, when I look back to when I began my mentorship its quite frightening the progression I’ve made; I struggle to even recognise myself in such a short space of time. I have much to learn before I can even consider myself a good coach, but I have the direction, clarity and a brilliant support network that will allow me to maintain my progression.
Ultimately, the mentorship has made me a vastly better coach, which is really what its all about; being the best coach possible to help unlock the potential within the athletes you’re helping”
“If you are looking to invest in your education, gain qualifications to progress your career and improve your personal business while working alongside and meeting people at the pinnacle of their fields, then you are have come to the right place.
The mentorship is a fantastic program providing a host of workshops in the cost alongside individual sessions with Brendan which can be tailored to your needs. After a consultation, my main aims were to become a credible and respected S&C Coach in the sport I have great passion for tennis, alongside becoming accredited with the UKSCA. Indeed I felt I had the ability to be a good S&C Coach in tennis but needed a mentor to help develop my confidence. Not only this though, but through Brendan’s understanding of business he has inspired me to begin my own sport science in tennis business, www.scienceintennis.com. There is no doubt that by the end of the mentorship program my confidence, knowledge, skills and delivery of S&C has improved and I will meet my goals set at the start of the mentorship.
Not only is Brendan a great mentor and S&C Coach but he is also a approachable and all round nice guy. I am looking forward to continue working with Brendan over the years and couldn’t recommend this enough to you regardless of your background in S&C or Sport Science.Jonathan Fraser (MSc CSCS)

I think anyone looking to develop as a coach would benefit from having a mentor, and Brendan is up there with the best. I think he is leading the way when it comes to coach education at the minute.
I have been under mentorship for about six months now and my coaching and knowledge has developed massively in this short time. Brendan has been coaching for quite a few years now and to learn from his experience, both coaching and business/network, has been invaluable.
To be honest with the education package alone you are quids in, but you get so much more than that. Personally I have benefited massively from Brendan’s network, and contacts further north to get experience coaching, as well as with Brendan in Leeds. Having a mentor in place means that every time I speak to Brendan, attend a course or visit the gym in Leeds I want to have developed that little bit more. He is someone holding me accountable and looking to make the next step all the time. Working towards UKSCA accreditation having Brendan to critique my programme design, and point out areas that need developing, practically, coaching or planning wise mean that I feel confident that I will pass my accreditation in a few months.
If you are serious about developing as a coach or developing your fitness business I would strongly recommend working with Brendan.
