7 KILLER questions you NEED to answer to grow YOUR business…
I know this is a bold subject in the email today but bear with me!!
Firstly, the Performance Nutrition Summit is rapidly approaching and the price goes up on Sunday (a week today). Make sure you’re involved and you can learn how to coach better, how to eat cleaner, how to get better results with your clients and yourself.
So on to todays subject…I want to take you through a session I did with my mentorship mastermind group YESTERDAY that will seriously target your efforts and get you working with purpose, clarity and with the people you actually want to work with!
As a group we meet regularly and we go through lots of coaching development sessions. I taught some combat conditioning stuff, we covered olympic weightlifting and mobility training in depth and it’s always a great weekend.
But we also do some personal and business development (because it’s pretty integral to your success).
This might be the most important session for people as it really does generate some clarity about what we are doing this for! (Deep I know…hang in there!)
So I took the group through 7 tasks that I would really like you to think about. It’s not fitness or coaching specific by the way. It’s applicable to anyone…(even YOU).
The tasks were discussion based and require some time to think and reflect. I would encourage you to give yourself 10-20 minutes or so for each task and really think big. Try to forget about your situation now and put yourself in a distant place where you can think in an unbiased way.
Here we go…
Task 1: What is your definition of success? A really important point to consider. What are we working for? Once you have this in your mind, what you’re working towards will become clearer. The clearer it becomes the more chance you have of getting there.
Task 2: Design your PERFECT day or days. What would you be doing, who with, where abouts? So powerful to get this clear. (Credit to Paul Mort for this concept btw).
Task 3: Who is your ideal client or customer? Why is this? What type of person allows you to do your best work? To be creative, and make things happen? To challenge you?
Task 4: What are you doing to attract (or put off) this IDEAL client? Think of your marketing message, think of your behaviour, the way you think and carry yourself. This is your personal brand. Everything adds up and this is what people see.
Task 5: What things are holding you back from achieving YOUR success? Do you need to change some things, do you need to be smarter in your approach? Is there something you’re fearful or scared of doing that really needs doing to help you move forwards?
Task 6: How can you overcome these challenges, what’s the way forward for you? (It might be best to speak to someone unbiased on these, someone who won’t tell you what you want to hear!
Task 7: What steps can you take in the next 30 DAYS to move forwards? If you’re car breaks down and you’re trying to get it rolling the hardest part is the START. Once you start rolling you gain momentum and things get faster and faster. What do you need to do to get STARTED in the next MONTH?
