Mentorship Gratitude Day
Last year was a great year for our Mentees. The students that started the course at the beginning of 2015 have finished the Mentorship Programme and gone on to further develop their careers. It’s really rewarding to see our Mentees doing so well and utilising the skills they have learnt on the Mentorship. It’s also been fantastic to see that many of our qualified Mentees have set up their own businesses within S&C. To name a few, Ste Gordon has set up his own gym and founded the England Kettlebell Association, Sam Guy and Rob Smaldon have set up Conwall High Performance and Mel Young has resigned from her teaching job to start up Amazon24 Fitness. We were also pleased to see many new faces join the mentorship last year and we will continue to aid and encourage their development.
On Saturday the 12th of December, S&C Education hosted the annual Mentorship Gratitude Day. The day was arranged as a thank you to our Mentees for working hard throughout the year. Brendan prepared various activities and exercises and everyone got stuck in! We also had support from two of our Mentors, Ian Fisher and Darren Stratton.
It was a great day for connecting, having fun and sharing ideas!
