Strength training with Harlequin’s Rugby player, James Chisholm
At the weekend, Strength and Conditioning Education advocates, James and Ross Chisholm, helped Harlequins beat Glocuester by both scoring tries in an exciting and dramatic Rugby Union match. The match ended with James being stretchered off following a head injury – we wish him all the best in recovering from that.
Earlier this year, we met with the brothers to do some Strength and Conditioning training and we put together a series of educational videos.
In this video we do some strength training with James, focusing on split stance strength lifts. As a rugby player, this helps James to even out the symmetry and strength on both sides, as well as taking stress away from the spine and lower back.
